2013 - Red Cross Community Service Hero Award

Each year The American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter and civic leaders from six counties in the Bay Area join together to celebrate everyday heroism, recognizing those individuals and organizations whose extraordinary acts of kindness and courage make them heroes. DeNova Homes is honored to be names the 2013 Community Service Hero Award for and organization.

2015 BIA Bay Area Excellence in Home Building Awards - Sales Team of the Year - Jim Pieper and Dianna Novela-Sanchez

The Building Industry Association of the Bay Area (BIA) is a professional, nonprofit organization committed to the production of quality homes and the promotion of housing for people of all income levels. Each year, they host the annual Excellence in Home Building Awards (through the Sales & Marketing Committee) that recognizes the work of outstanding BIA|Bay Area members.

Yellow Roof Foundation is a non-profit public charity. Founded in 2018 by Dave and Lori Sanson, founders of Concord based DeNova Homes, Inc., the Yellow Roof Foundation is working to build affordable housing opportunities for families and individuals at risk for homelessness.

We believe we can help families and individuals achieve their aspirations for a better tomorrow by providing affordable housing opportunities in the communities where they live and work. We believe they deserve an opportunity to start over, surrounded by a community that not only wants them to succeed, but is also willing to lend them hope and extend a helping hand.

We know that having a place to call home is just the beginning. Families also need valuable life skills to help turn transitional housing into transformational living. That’s why we partner with service professionals and volunteers to provide coaching to help individuals and families develop additional life skills in financial planning, interview training and more.
